Balanced design lives in my work...
Laura began her academic career in 1998, earning an Associate of Science in Graphic Design from St. Pete College, followed by a Bachelor of Art in Visual Art in 2005. She initially worked as a graphic designer in several corporations and subsequently advanced to the role of art director. At night, she joined an artist-in-residence program where she instructed adult ceramics classes. Eventually, Laura accepted an opportunity to teach art at both elementary and high school levels in Pinellas County, Florida, and continues to hold a valid Florida Teaching Certificate. In 2024, she earned her Master of Art Education and graduated with honors from the Delta Epsilon Tau-Alpha Chapter. Currently, she concentrates on her own artistic practice, integrating graphic design principles such as balance and spatial organization into her work.

“Working with Laura on designing the inside and cover for my book was an excellent experience. Laura has a highly creative artistic skill which gives her great insight into what looks good. Her calm approach to the collaborative process made it very easy to work together. I absolutely love the design she came up with for my book and I get extremely positive feedback from readers.”
